I have been waiting patiently for the new release!!

And as I have had a long, yet satisfying week, this is how I get rolling when I am tired.  How could you not?  The bass-line is in sync with my brain waves!  It is chemistry of the mind, art in its finest form.  As music should be for all.  That is what are senses are for, no?  And even if we do not have all of our senses, say being deaf or blind, our mind compensates by utilizing our other senses.  I can close my eyes, and not listen to the music, but still hear it, at least it’s vibrations.  Invigorating!

It is always an inspiration to me when I see someone doing something they love, with such a fever, that they actually get things done.  What sort of “things” am I talking about?  It could be large or small, involve others, a personal quest or just a goal.  Are you an animal lover and rescue strays that you may see?  Do you want to report things you find note-worthy and share it with your friends, family or the world?  Do you have an unquenchable desire to express yourself through various mediums of art?  Do you want to have a close-knit family with strong values?  Do you want to have a job that you enjoy and season it to make it a career that will meet your expectations?  Do you want to put your ideas to action in your community, your country, or the world?

These are things that I ask myself all the time.  What can I do?  Who can I be?  What are others doing and how can I support them in their causes?  To me, it is people who think, communicate, and move, they are the ones that actually make the world not just turn, but thrive.  When the world is thriving, that is when change is actually happening.  Some people do not want change, and that is okay, it is their opinion, but in all honesty, the world is always changing.  Always has and always will.  How would you like to see your world next month, year, decade, fifty years from now, or in a century?  It is the people with passions that will be the ones to make the changes, that are inevitably, going to happen.

I know a woman, personally, who had a rough childhood, rough for American standards.  She was starved as a child and teenager, had one toy a year donated from a church, abused by her own mother physically, mentally, and verbally.  She was lucky if she had one meal of beans for breakfast or dinner, and worked in the school cafeteria to earn a lunch.  She was thin and gaunt in her school pictures and made fun of by her peers.  She had several outfits and one pair of shoes donated by a church.  As she grew into a teenager, she made her own clothes.  Her life growing up was the very definition of poverty.  Her goal in life?  To love others as they should be loved.  To help others in need.  When she married and had her own child, she knew exactly how to be the best mother possible.  She has made her mark in the world.  She broke one chain of abuse because she made a conscious decision to and her daily actions were directed to her personal values and goals.  She is a hero in my eyes, a great example for myself, to anyone who encounters her, and to the world.  She is my mother.  Without her, I wouldn’t be who I am today, and she has shown me, by her own actions, that her efforts bear fruit.

She is just one person of whom I would like to share to the world.  I have encountered a lot of people who are doing positive things, people who inspire me, and my own personal goals.  These are people of whom I have met on my own travels, people in my daily life, friends, founders of non-profit organizations, writers who paint an accurate picture of current world events, people who participate in movements that better their communities.  I have only met a percent of a percent, these people who are making the world thrive and flourish.

What is my passion?  Getting proper credentials so I can work one-on-one with families who are survivors of domestic violence.  Exposing them to resources so they can be empowered, to not have to return to the unthinkable worlds they have lived in.

I am curious, what is your passion?
